About Isivivana Centre
Isivivana Centre is home to numerous modern and well-managed facilities that can be enjoyed by Khayelitsha residents and the surrounding communities, including our Library, Movie House, Classroom, Hall, Café, and Outdoor Amphitheatre. The Movie House, Classroom and Hall can be booked by members of the public to host special events.
The state-of-the-art Isivivana Centre was built with the support of Atlantic Philanthropies and is owned and managed by Khayelitsha Youth & Community Centre (KYCC) Trust. The top three floors of the Centre provide offices for community and social justice organisations that are registered Public Benefit Organisations (PBOs).
There are also five premises on the ground floor of the Centre occupied by businesses and organisations providing a variety of services to the community that can be accessed from the street.

Bertha Movie House
This state-of-the-art Movie House seats 112 people and holds regular free screenings for members of the community. The public is welcome to book Bertha Movie House for private screenings of documentaries and films, as well as for talks, book launches, poetry readings, presentations and other similar events.
Classroom
Our Classroom seats 30 people and has comfortable table-writing chairs and presentation equipment, making it the perfect place to host smaller seminars, workshops and discussion groups.
Hall
Looking for a place to host a special gathering? Our Hall has seating for 200 people and is the perfect venue for weddings, ceremonies, lectures, church services and other sit-down functions or celebrations. Catering can be provided for private events.
Bertha Movie House
This state-of-the-art Movie House seats 112 people and holds regular free screenings for members of the community. The public is welcome to book Bertha Movie House for private screenings of documentaries and films, as well as for talks, book launches, poetry readings, presentations and other similar events.

Nice centre...the halls in the facility have nice strong chairs and not too much echo. There is a nice little café as well and a library; library has free fast wifi that you can connect to and also make use of their computer devices. There's a small parking area inside and plenty other parking outside the centre as it is situated in Khayelitsha Mall.
More should be done to advertise this space. What a wonderful hidden gem.Love the place.
Wao this building is very interesting start from entrance,security always friendly greet with smile and ask u where u wanna be,and conduct u to that floor sanitize ask to put musk inside there is a lot of Organizations u can get TAC,Equal Education,Empilweni and etc
Very easy to find with Google maps if you aren't familiar with the area. I came here for the Queer Feminist Film Festival. The day was great and the space was perfect for what the festival tried to achieve. Situated inside the venue is Bertha House, a cinema. I will return here to watch more films whenever it is showing here. In love with this space.
